This is a coffee of one true love, and three names. We created it for a Seattle restaurant in 1975, as Jake's Blend. People loved it so much we began scooping it in our stores as 80/20 blend, after the recipe. 

 

The love was so strong we finally made it official, calling it Verona after the city that inspires so many.

We use a careful blend of beans sourced from Latin America and Asian Pacific, known for producing a roasty sweet flavour profile with hints of dark cocoa.

At the richer end of the roast spectrum, Dark Roast has a fuller body and robust, bold flavours for an intense taste.

HOW TO MAKE

Preparation:
1. Pull side tabs on the sachet to reveal the ground coffee
2. Squeeze sachet on the sides and place over the cup
3. Measure and boil 140ml of water
4. Pour a small quantity of hot water to wet ground coffee
5. Wait 30 seconds and slowly pour remaining hot water
