How to Froth Milk With a Coffee Press

Not only does the coffee press produce rich, full-bodied coffee, it can also be used to make fluffy milk foam in larger volumes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Coffee press
  • Carafe
  • Pan
  • Milk

STEP 1

Heat the milk to 60°C (140°F).

Be careful not to let it boil. Stir occasionally.

A stovetop or a microwave is all you need to effectively heat your milk.

Pour the warm milk into the coffee press.

Leave space for it to double in volume.

STEP 3

Raise & lower the plunger to froth.

Gradually increase the tempo. Plunge for 30 seconds or until the milk has doubled in volume.

Stop when the milk has doubled in volume.
